Message from the Founder of
the Professional Artistes Workshop

Ms Kam Wah Ho

I have been devoted to the media and performing arts industries for over 45 years, living an incredibly fast-paced life every day in Hong Kong. Until 2017, at the age of 60, I had the opportunity to receive comprehensive and professional bakery and pastry training at Le Cordon Bleu in Tokyo. Besides seeking knowledge and skill, at the same time, I learned to enjoy life and build new friendships during the course. Afterwards, I had the chance to learn further from many Japanese artisan teachers and to study at the Torigoe School of Baking. I always gain something new from every chance I study, and I gradually realise the impulse of the Japanese artisan culture which is worthy of my full respect.

The learning process allows me to regain motivation and enjoy life as a woman of the golden age which also gives out abundant positive energy. It is also a good opportunity for meditation to broaden my mind and allow more space to process my thoughts that may apply to daily life.

I sincerely hope to grasp the opportunity and share this sense of living with everyone. This is the reason I decided to establish my dream studio in Japan, the Professional Artistes Workshop, for the dedication to sharing with friends around the globe about the Japanese culture, the craftsman’s spirit, and the Japanese aesthetics of everyday life.

In terms of business collaborations, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and sincerity for cooperating with all craftsmen and artisan teachers. Friendship is always the first, a win-win relationship is a goal. I hope we will establish a long-term cooperative relationship with each other in the years to come. I always treasure your advice and guidance. Thank you!
